Old lady Cone‼️ She's got 12 hours only to collect $250 ‼️

20 years is a long time.
Time that will not be returned to Cone.
Time filled with people who probably loved her, since they kept her until this day.

But they passed away.
They took their love and everything that made Cone's eyes full of hope with them.

Old Cone.
Old farm.
Piles of junk everywhere I look.
Cloudy sky, frosty wind. Some raindrops dancing around.

There is no hope here that could be given to this old donkey today.
You cannot get water out of a stone.

Sasha stares at the horizon because it's hard for him to keep his gaze on the emaciated Cone.

I feel the same way too.

For many years, Cone was serving on an agritourism farm in eastern Poland. The farm is gone, people who lived there are gone as well. The old donkey remained.

I look at her and think that she was born a moment before we were standing in front of the public office in Wrocław, registering Centaurus Foundation.
Feels like it was yesterday!
We were full of life and spirit back then, just like little Cone.

We're still here.
We will be there until our last breath.
Days like this, when we leave the gates with a rescued animal, these are the days when our energy increases and we are filled with pure magic.
Gray hair, here and there, and years flying by don't apply anymore.

I look at Cone and feel tears coming to my eyes.
I don't know whether it's only about Cone or the fact that the beginning of it all was not yesterday...

20 years is a long time.
Time that will not be returned to Cone.
Time filled with people who probably loved her, since they kept her until this day.

But they passed away.
They took their love and everything that made Cone's eyes full of hope with them.

Today, Cone is fading away.
Except she could live few more winters.
20 years for a donkey is not a lot.

The trader cracks his whip, hits Cone with a stick and moves her around constantly.

Cone doesn't object.
She does everything the man tells her to do.
She looks at us with her big eyes and waits. She's waiting for some movement. For a decision. Whatever the decision is.

I'm looking at you.
What's the decision? Have you made a decision for Cone?

Did she convince you to give her just one more day before she fades away like everything else she had?
