# Centaurus Foundation (Angels 2 Animals)

> Centaurus Foundation is a Polish animal-welfare organisation (est. 2006) that rescues, rehabilitates, and provides lifelong sanctuary care for horses and other animals. The English-language site is https://angels2animals.com/. Donations fund veterinary care, food, shelters, emergency interventions, and international rescue work.

Centaurus is politically and religiously independent and is funded by private individuals, companies, and institutions. It operates what it describes as the world’s largest horse sanctuary, with around 1,500 rescued horses in care and a wider international programme (including work in Europe, Ukraine, the Middle East, Africa, and the Philippines). Headquarters and office: Ul. Skarbowców 23a / Building B3, 53-025 Wrocław, Poland. Sanctuary land is in Szczedrzykowice, Poland.
